Kevin has pastored in Quebec, Minnesota, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. He is delighted to be back in Kingston where he did his undergraduate work at Queen's University. From there, he did a Master of Divinity at Ontario Theological Seminary (now Tyndale Theological Seminary), and a Master of Theology at Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He did further graduate work at Toronto School of Theology. He has written several articles and has contributed to "Together in Christ: The Hope and Promise of Christian Marriage" (Ottawa: Novalis Press, 2000). Kevin is married to Anne-Marie and is the father of three daughters and a son.

Rev. Francisco Brandao (Portuguese Pastor)
Pastor Francisco Brandão was born in Maranhão, Brazil. In August 1991, he and his family (wife Francisca, sons Daniel and David, and daughter Sara) moved to Ottawa where he became an associate pastor at Eastview Baptist Church and helped them to plant a Portuguese ministry.
Between 1993 and 1996, he established and pastored a Portuguese ministry here at First Baptist Church in Kingston, and for a time he pastored our Hispanic congregation also.
Pastor Francisco currently is an outreach pastor of our church, where he leads Bible studies and discussion groups in various Kingston homes for Portuguese-speaking people. One of his primary goals is to help people come to know Jesus of Nazareth as their Lord and Saviour.Francisco considers himself to be in a “tent-maker” ministry. He works in education at the college level, and divides his time between Canada and Brazil.
